加勒比海盗5中导演让影片轻快地在不同动作场景之间跳转，确实为这个系列带来一些新鲜的东西，尽管最后的高潮大战不如前面的动作戏那么让人沉浸其中，但影片绝大多数时候看起来都很棒，甚至可以说打造出了目前为止整个系列中最精彩的一些动作场面。
